    About Us

Professional Risk, formerly known as Rich & Cartmill Insurance of Colorado, LLC, was formed in 2004 to be a respected client representative in the insurance marketplace. In April of 2018 Rich & Cartmill Insurance of Colorado, LLC partnered with the Alera Group which resulted in the new name, Professional Risk. This allowed us to provide the opportunity to operate with the benefits of a national broker but is also personal to Colorado's clientele and needs.

The short term and long-term goal of Professional Risk is to be recognized by its Clients, Carriers, Employees, Peers and Colleagues as the premier provider of insurance products and services in the region and nationally.

    Lorraine Houck

    Account Manager
    Lorraine Houck

Commercial lines account manager with a solid background in the insurance industry spanning decades.  I began my insurance career in the mail/ file room before becoming a clerical support member, moving into agency accounting and the Home Builders insurance program.   I began working as a commercial lines account manager in 1995 working with various types of risks but with a special emphasis on the senior living market.   I love working at Professional Risk managing a commercial book of business that includes many of the same clients I began  working with in 1995.  Providing great customer service is very important to me and I believe building lasting relationships is key to that success.  I enjoy getting to know my clients in order to understand their unique insurance needs and tailoring solutions to protect their businesses effectively.

I am a licensed insurance producer for Property & Casualty in the State of Oklahoma and as such I value continuing education.  I am a member of The National Alliance, the Society of Certified Insurance Services and hold the CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designations.  Maintaining these designations requires ongoing professional development through continuing education courses, ensuring staying current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

While not at work, I enjoy spending my free time with my family.  My husband and I have raised four children together and are now enjoying our time as Grandparents.  I am a member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma and enjoy participating in native culture and traditions.

    Account Manager
    Misia Clevenhagen

Originally from Rochester, NY,  in 1997, Misia Clevenhagen applied for a part-time assistance position with a local insurance agency while attending college for forensic pathology. That part-time position eventually became a full-time position and before she knew it, she changed careers and joined the insurance industry as an Account Manager for Personal Lines.

In 2003 after spending much time visiting friends in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Misia decided to make Oklahoma her home and received her Property & Casualty producer license for the State of Oklahoma. In 2020, Misia changed gears slightly and became a commercial lines account manager within the senior living market while maintaining a small personal lines book of business.

In her free time, she loves to travel, cook, and spend time with those she loves.
